NSE Pre-Open Market Timings
The NSE regular pre-open session runs from 9:00 AM to 9:15 AM before normal equity trading begins.
What happens in the pre-open session?
The session includes order collection, price discovery, matching and a short transition period. The equilibrium price discovered through demand and supply can become the opening price.
Can orders be changed throughout pre-open?
Order entry, modification and cancellation are available during the collection period. Modification and cancellation are not allowed during order matching.
